Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, and support business decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge and experience working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain financial statements in compliance with AASB standards Manage general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Prepare BAS, GST, PAYG, and tax-related reports Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Conduct account reconciliations and variance analysis Support audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements Provide financial insights to management for budgeting and forecasting Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles Strong knowledge of Australian tax and compliance (BAS, GST, PAYG) Proficiency in accounting software (MYOB, Xero, SAP, or Oracle) Advanced Excel skills CPA or CA qualification (or in progress) – preferred Strong attention to detail and communication skills What We Offer Competitive salary aligned with Australian market Flexible working options (Hybrid/Remote) Career development and professional certification support Supportive and inclusive workplace culture
