We are looking for an Accountant to join our team. The role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions, supporting tax compliance procedures, and contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities and ad hoc reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day to day bookkeeping records
• Oversee submission and reconciliation of financial data on the AADE MyData platform.
• Support in the preparation of various tax filings (Income Tax, VAT, VIES, Intrastat, Contracts, Withholding Taxes, Transfer Pricing) and submission of these in compliance with legislation.
• Support month-end and year-end closing process
• Provide support during annual statutory and tax audits.
• Takes part in simplification of accounting processes.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP (IFRS) and relevant tax regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other equivalent
• At least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational environment
• Very good command of English language, both verbal and written
• Good knowledge of MS-Excel and accounting software (SAP)
• Knowledge of Greek GAAP and IFRS
• Relevant certification (e.g. ACCA, ACA) will be considered as a plus
