Accountant

SLS Alliance is looking for an experienced Accountant to independently manage accounting and tax reporting for our Ukrainian legal entities. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of Ukrainian accounting legislation who can ensure accurate records, timely reporting, and smooth accounting closing.

Mission

• Ensure timely submission of all tax and financial reports in Ukraine.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Collect and verify all required financial information and primary documents.
• Ensure compliance with Ukrainian tax and accounting regulations.
• Independently manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in Ukraine.
• Strong knowledge of Ukrainian tax and accounting legislation.
• Experience independently managing accounting for Ukrainian legal entities.
• Practical experience with VAT, payroll, tax reporting, and primary documentation.
• Experience preparing and submitting financial and statutory reports independently.
• Confident user of BAS / 1C, M.E.Doc, and electronic reporting systems.
• Experience with international transactions and foreign currency accounting.
• High level of accuracy, responsibility, independence, and attention to detail.
• Ukrainian and Russian - fluent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full accounting records for Ukrainian Limited Liability Companies (LLCs) and Individual Entrepreneurs (Sole Proprietors).
• Prepare and submit tax, financial, and statutory reports.
• Manage VAT, payroll taxes, and other tax obligations.
• Collect, verify, and process primary accounting documents.
• Perform reconciliations with contractors, employees, and tax authorities.
• Monitor tax payments and reporting deadlines.
• Manage accounting for international transactions and foreign currencies.
• Independently complete monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing.
• Coordinate with management to collect missing financial information and documentation.
