About the Role

We are looking for an Accountant to handle the bookkeeping and financial reporting for our three divisions and holding company. This is an entry-level, freelance/part-time, hybrid position based in Makassar, with some work done at our office.

Responsibilities

• Record daily transactions based on receipts, invoices, and bank statements.

• Prepare weekly balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports for each division and the holding company.

• Prepare semi-annual and annual financial reports.

• Monitor project cash flow, including progress billing, project costs, and variance against RAB/RAP.

• Perform bank reconciliations.

• Maintain records of petty cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and investor funds.

• Review reports for accuracy before submission and follow up on corrections.

Note: This role covers recording and reporting only and does not involve handling company funds.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting or Finance. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Good understanding of basic accounting (journal entries, balance sheet, profit and loss).

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.

• Experience in a project-based company, such as construction or consulting, is preferred.

• Detail-oriented, punctual, and receptive to feedback, with good communication skills.

• Based in Makassar.
