We are now looking for Accounts Payable Accountant for our Finance and Accounting Department in Kemira Gdansk. Finance & Accounting provides accurate, timely financial reporting and ensures compliance with global accounting standards and regulations. The function supports decision-making, transparency, and financial control across the organization, enabling reliable operations and strong governance worldwide.
This position is temporary and offered as a fixed-term contract to cover a leave of absence (Praca na zastępstwo).
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Processing and verifying supplier invoices in collaboration with team members.
- Performing three-way matching (invoice, purchase order, goods receipt) where applicable.
- Ensuring accurate coding and posting of invoices in the accounting system.
- Resolving queries via email and phone, supporting colleagues and stakeholders.
- Updating documentation to maintain compliance and transparency.
- Reconciling vendor statements and addressing discrepancies in partnership with vendors.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Minimum education: High school diploma.
- Two years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Good command of English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with ERP systems is considered an advantage.
- Openness to learning and adapting, with a collaborative mindset.

- The starting base salary range for this role is between 6200 to 7400 PLN per month. Salary ranges may vary depending on location and local market conditions. The actual starting salary will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant work experience, skills and competencies, qualifications, and wider business and organisational needs.
