The Opportunity We’re seeking an Accountant who will play an important role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of OBHG’s financial data. You’ll be responsible for managing accounts receivable processes, reconciling accounts, and supporting monthly financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement within a mission-driven healthcare organization. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the Accounts Receivable ledger, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies with both internal departments and external partners. Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting. Prepare and analyze AR aging reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Partner with the operations team to ensure billing accuracy and revenue alignment with contractual terms. Assist in audit preparation and respond to internal and external audit inquiries. Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting team. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. 2+ years of accounting experience with a focus on accounts receivable preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Great Plains, or similar). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
