Accountant (CVARACT)

Job Description Work Setup: hybrid setup — enjoy working from home with only 2 in-office days per month. Core Accounting Responsibilities We need someone who can take ownership of our day-to-day accounting and monthly financial processes, including: QuickBooks Online management and transaction coding Full monthly bookkeeping and month-end close Accounts payable and accounts receivable Processing monthly bills, checks and electronic payments for approval Employee/member reimbursements Payroll processing/accounting, payroll journal entries, benefits and 401(k) Bank and credit card reconciliations Oversight and reconciliation of our operating, money market, CD, PAC and investment accounts Budgeting, forecasting and budget-to-actual reporting Monthly financial statements and Board-ready financial reporting Organized digital financial records and supporting documentation Coordination with our outside CPA/tax firm Audit/review support Strong internal controls and identification of discrepancies or unusual transactions Requirements Associates Degree or higher in accounting or business 5-7 years of accounting experience With experience using Quick-books High attention to detail Proven ability to meet monthly deadlines Experience working in an ERP software environment Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and other Microsoft Office software Dependable and reliable, and able to work flexible hours and overtime.
