Accountant - Forex / Fintech

Job Description This is a remote position. Location: Remote Salary: €37,000 – €50,000 per annum Our client is a premier, high-growth international Forex brokerage with an expanding presence across global markets. With a strong focus on financial integrity, compliance, and superior client service, they are scaling their operations and now seek an experienced Accountant to support their finance team. This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented finance professional with experience in FX/CFD, fintech, or related industries, and strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting in regulated environments. Description As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing regulatory and management reports, and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards. You will handle reconciliations across multiple accounts and jurisdictions while supporting the finance leadership team with day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong attention to detail, able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment. Responsibilities Manage daily bookkeeping and general ledger entries for multi-entity structures Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, client funds, and trading platforms Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Assist with regulatory reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions Support cash flow monitoring and internal financial controls Work with external auditors and tax advisors as needed Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to senior management Requirements 5+ years of accounting experience within FX/CFD brokerage, fintech, or related industries Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and reconciliations Experience in preparing financial and regulatory reports ACCA qualification or equivalent professional certification Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Nice to Have Experience in crypto transaction accounting Familiarity with IFRS standards Exposure to multi-jurisdictional financial structures Additional language skills Benefits Competitive salary of €37,000 – €50,000 per annum Remote role with flexibility and independence Opportunity to work in a growing, international brokerage Professional development within a supportive finance team Exposure to multi-jurisdictional and dynamic financial operations This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to join a fast-growing brokerage and contribute to its global expansion.
