Role Description

The Accountant role at Cafémaker is a full-time position based in Sleman with a hybrid work arrangement. Responsibilities include recording and reconciling transactions, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and closing processes. The role also works with operations and procurement teams to track costs, provide financial insights, and support efficient financial management. Designed for fresh graduates, the position offers mentoring, system training, and opportunities to grow in finance.

Qualifications

• Foundational accounting and finance knowledge, including understanding of journal entries, ledgers, and basic financial statements.
• Skills in financial reporting and analysis, with the ability to prepare simple reports and interpret key figures for decision-making.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software (mekari jurnal), along with strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Capability to manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice handling, payment tracking, and reconciliation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting in Sleman, demonstrating reliability, self-motivation, and accountability when working remotely.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to learn local tax and regulatory requirements, and an interest in the procurement or F&B equipment & coffee industry is an advantage.
