Core responsibilities:
As an Accountant based in Prague, you’ll process Credit Notes and Debit Notes for EMEA and AMS markets within our Accounts Receivable Invoicing team.
You will also:
- Validate approvals, supporting documents and Debit Memo workflows against internal policies and controls.
- Coordinate requests across EMEA and AMS, providing clear guidance and resolving operational issues promptly.
- Maintain process documentation and identify practical improvements to approval and processing workflows.
- Support regional standardization, audit activities and reliable relationships with internal and external business partners.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to stakeholders on Debit Note processes, requirements, and best practices.
- Ensure Credit Notes and Debit Notes are processed within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across all markets within EMEA and AMS.
- Drive process optimization initiatives within the functional area while ensuring adherence to company policies, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
This is a one-year fixed-term role in Prague – Jinonice, no relocation support is offered for this role.

The Accounts Receivable team supports the LEGO® Group by delivering accurate, customer-focused Finance processes while managing requests from colleagues and business partners across international markets.

Do you have what it takes?
- Experience in invoicing, billing, GL, AR, AP, cash applications or another transactional Finance environment.
- Comfortable using SAP and Microsoft Office tools.
- Careful judgement when checking approvals, documentation, transaction accuracy and control requirements.
- Collaborative communication, curiosity and initiative when investigating issues or improving established processes.
Nice to Have:
- Experience supporting multiple markets, legal entities or international Accounts Receivable operations.
- Familiarity with Lean methods, workflow optimization or continuous improvement tools.
