Accounting Advisory Consultant

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Policy and SEC Reporting professional to assist on muliple client engagements a project basis. This contract role is fully remote and will go through the end of the year with possible extension.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting, financial reporting, and business transformation projects for a diverse portfolio of clients across industries.
• Research, interpret, and apply U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, providing guidance on complex accounting matters and technical accounting issues.
• Assist clients with transactions and special projects, including new accounting standard implementation, financial close optimization, carve-outs, purchase accounting, and reporting process improvements.
• Collaborate with client leadership and cross-functional teams to develop practical solutions, prepare analyses and deliverables, and ensure timely project execution and compliance with reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• 10+ of relevant experience with SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
