Accounting Analyst

The Accounting Analyst is responsible for performing accounting, financial reporting, and control activities to ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. This role supports month-end closing processes, account reconciliations, financial reporting, audit requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Prepare and record accounting journal entries, including accruals, provisions, and account adjustments. Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. Monitor and maintain fixed asset accounting, including capitalizations and disposals. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations. Prepare information for statutory, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Controlling, Payroll, and Corporate Accounting. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to accounting processes. Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement projects. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance. Experience with SAP Finance modules. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. Experience supporting internal and external audits. Knowledge of month-end and year-end closing processes. Experience in process improvement initiatives is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
