Accounting Associate

Most accounting jobs keep you on the same few clients, filing the same returns year after year. This one is different. We're looking for an experienced accountant to join our team in Athens — someone who already knows their way around VAT and corporate tax and wants more interesting work and faster development than a smaller practice can offer. What you'll do You'll manage accounting and tax work for a diverse range of corporate clients, including: Preparing VAT returns, corporate income tax returns, and financial statements. Maintaining accurate records and keeping clients compliant with Greek accounting and tax regulations. Being a point of contact for your clients — answering their questions and building relationships they trust. Supporting external audits by preparing documentation and working alongside the audit teams. Spotting ways to make processes cleaner and more accurate. You won't be doing this alone — you'll have a team around you and people to learn from. What you'll need Must-haves: Class B Accountant Licence (Άδεια Λογιστή Β' Τάξης). At least 2 years' accounting experience, ideally in an accounting firm. Hands-on experience with VAT returns, corporate income tax returns, and financial statements. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar. Fluent Greek and English, written and spoken. Strong Excel and confidence with accounting software. A plus (but not essential): Experience with Epsilon Net. We care more about whether you do the work accurately and communicate well with clients than about a long list of traits — so if you've got the licence, the experience, and a genuinely careful eye, we'd like to hear from you.
