Accounting Manager

Role Description The Accounting Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Typical responsibilities include managing the preparation and review of financial statements, supervising journal entries, maintaining fixed asset schedules, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The role also involves analyzing financial data, identifying trends or issues, and providing clear, actionable insights to support client advisory and tax planning activities. The Accounting Manager will collaborate with internal team members and clients, implement and refine accounting procedures, and help maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in the English language, both written and verbal.
• Ability to prepare, review, and interpret Financial Statements with strong Finance knowledge.
• Proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting) and maintaining accurate general ledger records.
• Experience managing Fixed Assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Strong Analytical Skills to assess financial data, identify variances, and support decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Several years of experience in accounting or financial management, ideally in public accounting or a client-service environment.
• Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with accounting and tax software; advanced Excel skills are beneficial.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-specialists.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
