We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting & Finance Manager to lead our accounting and finance function for a US-based technology consulting company with global operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for financial reporting, accounting operations, payroll, treasury, compliance, and internal controls. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will partner with leadership to support strategic decision-making while ensuring the company's financial operations remain accurate, efficient, and compliant. Key Responsibilities Lead the accounting and finance function for a US-based technology consulting firm with international operations. Own the monthly and annual financial close process. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Oversee all accounting operations, including Banking, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, invoicing, treasury, and cash management. Manage multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions. Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory reporting requirements while working with the company’s CPA. Lead external audits and coordinate with auditors and external advisors. Develop, maintain, and strengthen internal controls, and financial processes. Lead accounting system implementations, automation initiatives, and process improvements. Partner directly with the CEO and leadership team to provide financial analysis, identify risks, and support strategic decision-making. Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and other financial planning initiatives. This role will eventually lead to becoming the CFO role based on performance. What We're Looking For 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience as a Senior Accounting Manager, Controller, Assistant Controller, or similar role. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting. Experience working with US-based companies in technology, IT consulting, professional services, or SaaS industries. Proven ownership of month-end and year-end close processes. Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements. Experience managing external audits and working with auditors. Strong understanding of internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance. Experience managing multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions. Experience with cloud-based ERP systems (QuickBooks Online needed; Xero is good to have in addition) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
