This Accounting Manager plays a critical role in maintaining financial integrity while driving continuous improvement across accounting operations. The ideal Accounting Manager brings a combination of technical expertise, leadership experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and team development. Key Responsibilities Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger activities Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP Analyze budget-to-actual variances and support budgeting and forecasting Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets Audit financial data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions Develop and maintain financial models, reconciliations, and reports (Excel-based) Support audits, cash flow analysis, tax work, and special projects Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, IT, Sales, and Operations Leadership Responsibilities Manage, mentor, and develop accounting team members Assign, review, and evaluate work to ensure accuracy and efficiency Provide guidance on complex accounting issues and transactions Support employee development through coaching and goal setting Address performance and employee relations matters Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF) Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience in a service-based organization or public accounting CPA or CMA certification Experience with Great Plains or similar ERP/accounting systems Skills & Competencies High attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proven leadership and team development capabilities Apply Today Join CloudWave and be part of a team that is making a real impact in healthcare—while investing in your growth and success.
