Accounting Manager - Outsource Accounting (CAAS)
Location: Flexible / Hybrid

Our Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) practice is one of the fastest-growing service lines within the firm. As business owners increasingly turn to outsourced accounting solutions, our team continues to expand, creating opportunities for talented professionals who want to go beyond accounting and become trusted advisors.
We're seeking a Manager to join our Outsource Accounting practice. This role combines client leadership, technical review, team development, and operational oversight across a portfolio of closely held and middle-market clients.

What You'll Do
- Manage a portfolio of outsourced accounting clients, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of financial reporting and accounting services.
- Review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting workpapers prepared by team members before delivery to clients and tax professionals.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for business owners, controllers, bookkeepers, and other client stakeholders.
- Lead and coach accounting professionals across our U.S. and Mumbai delivery teams.
- Manage engagement budgets, realization, billing, workflow priorities, and capacity planning across your client portfolio.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate routine work, and enhance the client experience.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to identify additional services and advisory opportunities that help clients grow.

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including experience reviewing the work of others.
- Public accounting, outsourced accounting, client accounting services, controllership, or related experience.
- Experience managing multiple clients, projects, or engagements simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of financial statement preparation, month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and accounting operations.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or directing the work of team members.
- CPA or CMA preferred.
- Experience working with distributed or offshore teams is a plus.
Preferred Experience & Technical Environment
Candidates may have experience in areas such as:
- Client Accounting Services (CAS) or Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS)
- Outsourced Accounting, Outsourced Finance, Virtual Controller, or fractional accounting environments
- Financial statement preparation, month-end close, and account reconciliation processes
- Compilation and outsourced accounting engagements
- QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, Sage 50, and cloud-based accounting platforms
- 1099 reporting, sales tax, payroll tax, and related compliance activities
- Workflow management, process improvement, and accounting technology solutions
- Professional services firms, family-owned businesses, entrepreneurial companies, and middle-market organizations
