Accounting Manager - Remote (Work from home)

Fully remote, no night shifts, no commute — work directly with a US finance team from anywhere. This is not a BPO role.

MAVI partners with high-growth US startups and SMEs, embedding experienced accounting professionals directly within their finance teams. This is not a traditional accounting manager role — you will lead accounting operations for US clients while mentoring your team in a fast-moving environment.

The Opportunity

As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee end-to-end accounting operations for US clients, managing a team of accountants and working directly with US Controllers and CFOs.

What You Will Own

• Lead end-to-end accounting (Record-to-Report) for US clients
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles
• Review and finalize financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
• Act as primary US client contact, building strong stakeholder relationships
• Drive process automation and workflow improvements
• Ensure audit readiness and manage auditor interactions

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP expertise
• Prior experience in team management or mentoring
• ERP experience (NetSuite, Toast, QuickBooks, or similar)
• CA / CPA (or equivalent) strongly preferred
• Ability to work with US time zone overlap
