Your New Role

As a Statutory Manager, you will oversee statutory reporting, compliance, and audit activities for multiple international legal entities across the EMEA region. You will partner with finance, tax, legal, treasury, and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Your Role Accountabilities

• Coordinate the preparation and review of annual statutory financial statements, statutory disclosures, and filing obligations across multiple jurisdictions while ensuring compliance with local accounting, corporate, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead statutory audits from planning through completion, serving as the primary contact for external auditors and service providers while coordinating audit requests and supporting timely audit sign-off and filing.
• Review local GAAP reporting requirements, adjustments, and reconciliations, and support the alignment between US GAAP and local GAAP reporting frameworks.
• Evaluate and provide accounting guidance on complex transactions, including intercompany activities, transfer pricing arrangements, dividends, capital contributions, corporate restructurings, mergers, liquidations, and entity rationalization projects.
• Partner closely with RTR, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Legal, and FP&A teams to support business initiatives and provide statutory accounting expertise.
• Drive process improvement, standardization, internal control enhancements, and compliance initiatives within the controllership organization.
• Support team development through onboarding, training, coaching, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive experience in statutory reporting, controllership, external audit, or corporate accounting within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, financial reporting requirements, external audit processes, IFRS, and local GAAP frameworks.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent preferred.
• Experience managing legal entities across multiple jurisdictions and assessing the accounting impact of complex business transactions.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, PeopleSoft, or similar financial platforms, supported by advanced Excel skills.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
