Accounting Professionals (AI Model Training & Evaluation)

Role Overview

In this role, you will help train and evaluate AI systems by working on complex accounting tasks that mirror real-world scenarios. These include financial reporting, audit processes, tax compliance, and month-end/year-end close activities.

Your expertise will directly influence how accurately AI systems understand and execute accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulatory frameworks

• Calibrate AI decision-making across tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis

• Simulate and review workflows including financial close, consolidations, tax filings, and internal controls

• Provide detailed feedback on AI-generated financial statements, disclosures, audit documentation, and management reports

• Collaborate asynchronously with technical teams to refine AI performance using real-world accounting standards

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of professional accounting experience

• Background in public accounting (Big Four), corporate finance, or specialized accounting fields

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory frameworks

• Deep familiarity with core accounting processes (e.g., financial reporting, tax compliance, reconciliations, internal controls)

• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CMA, or ACCA

• Experience in specialized areas such as:

  • Forensic accounting

  • Government or public sector accounting

  • Nonprofit/fund accounting

  • Cross-border accounting (GAAP vs IFRS, FX, transfer pricing)

• Advanced degree (Master’s in Accounting or MBA with accounting focus)

Project Details

• Start Date: Immediate

• Duration: ~2 weeks (with potential extension)

• Commitment: ~15 hours per week

Compensation & Terms

• $500 – $1,000 per completed task (based on quality and scope)

• Additional weekly performance bonuses for top contributors

• Independent contractor engagement

• Fully remote with flexible working hours
