Accounting Specialist

eBrands is looking for a full-time Accounting Specialist to join our Helsinki office.

We specialize in expanding brands through our commercial network in the US, UK and Europe, from dominant and emerging e-commerce marketplaces to direct-to-consumer and major retail. Our platform enables local brand presence and a robust delivery network. Our portfolio includes over 50 brands and 1000 + products.

We are now searching for a Accounting Specialist to join our growth journey.

Location: Hybrid working model, with a minimum of 3 days per week in our Helsinki office

Responsibilities:

• Processing incoming invoices, expense claims and payments
• Transferring sales invoices to the accounting system, monitoring overdue invoices, and supporting the Sales Team with invoice-related questions
• Processing and reconciling bank statements
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing
• Maintaining accurate master data
• Coordinating the finance inbox and ensuring timely responses to internal and external stakeholders
• Handling other accounting-related tasks
• Supporting the improvement of finance processes and ways of working
• Depending on your experience and interests, the role may include payroll and more advanced bookkeeping tasks
• Supporting administrative tasks when needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Vocational Qualification in Business Administration, business student, or equivalent education
• Previous experience in accounting or finance is an advantage, but we are also open to candidates who are at the beginning of their career and have a good understanding of accounting basics
• Careful and reliable working style with good communication skills
• Fluent in English and Finnish
• Experience with Netvisor and payroll is considered an advantage
