About the role We’re looking for a passionate and hands-on Accounting Specialist to join our team and take ownership of key accounting and financial processes. You’ll work in an international tech environment, collaborating closely with management and external partners. What you'll do Own the invoicing process with customers, vendors, and partners worldwide Manage intercompany, payroll, and tax transactions, including account reconciliations across subsidiaries Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings, ensuring accurate and compliant financial records Work closely with external accountants, auditors, lawyers, insurers, banks, and management Analyze financial data and support reporting on revenues, costs, and cash flow Help turn financial data into insights and informed business decisions What we're looking for Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, with 5–6 years of experience, ideally in a fast-paced company and/or Audit Firm Strong passion for accounting, financial analysis, and accurate data processing Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills You are a master of Excel, and you can create pivot tables, data tables, use Goal Seek, and manage CSV imports/exports Fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written) Why Akamas? About the offer Contract Type: 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, under the Italian Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Commercio) Compensation: The expected gross annual salary (RAL) for this position starts from €38,000 and will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications assessed throughout the selection process.
