Accounting Technician

Field: Accounting Experience Level: Intermediate Posting Status: Ongoing / Evergreen Role Overview Norgress works with accounting professionals to support financial operations across our portfolio of brands. This role involves assisting with bookkeeping review, financial reporting, and corporate tax compliance for initiatives operating within Canada. Individuals engaged in this role may provide guidance on accounting practices, review financial records maintained in modern bookkeeping systems, and support corporate tax preparation and filings. Contributors may also provide practical advice on financial organization, compliance, and tax planning as projects evolve. Because Norgress operates through a flexible, project-based model, accounting support may be provided on a periodic or advisory basis depending on operational needs. Responsibilities May Include Reviewing bookkeeping records for accuracy and completeness Providing guidance on accounting practices and financial organization Assisting with preparation and review of corporate tax filings Advising on compliance with Canadian tax and regulatory requirements Supporting financial reporting and documentation for business activities Answering accounting and tax-related questions as they arise What We Look For We are interested in connecting with accounting professionals who have experience supporting Canadian corporations. Helpful experience may include: Accounting diploma, degree, or equivalent professional training Experience preparing or reviewing Canadian corporate tax filings Familiarity with CRA compliance requirements Experience supporting small or growing businesses Comfort working with modern bookkeeping and accounting software Ability to communicate financial information clearly and practically Professional designations such as CPA are an asset, but not required.
