Accounts Assistant
A detail oriented and organised Accounts Assistant is required to join a team on a predominantly remote basis, with 4 days working remotely and 1 day per week in West Dublin.
Your Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions across multiple entities and currencies, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage accounts payable, including vendor invoice processing and preparation of monthly payment runs.
- Oversee accounts receivable, issuing customer invoices and supporting timely collections.
- Perform month end bank and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Monitor financial transactions and reports to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
- Assist with tax filings and maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with the Financial Controller and operations team to maintain accurate, up to date financial information.
Your Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role.
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles and practices.
- Skilled in accounting software, including Xero.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Relevant qualification such as a bookkeeping diploma; accounting or business diplomas considered an advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities, with ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
