Accounts Payable Clerk

Envision Radiology is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team!
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Postion Pay Range: $20.41 - $24.59
This role is hybrid - remote work on Mondays & Fridays only

Summary/Objective

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate payment for goods and services purchased by the organization. The Accounts Payable Clerk is critical in collaborating with vendors to ensure that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed.

Essential Functions

1. Codes, processes, and pays invoices and check requests.

2. Calculates and enters allocations as applicable.

3. Processes check requests, monthly radiology fee payments, and distributions.

4. Uploads payment files into banking system, agreeing batch totals with accounting system.

5. Reconciles vender accounts to include researching and correcting discrepancies.

6. Communicates regularly with vendors and internal stakeholders.

7. Reviews all invoices and check requests for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.

8. Reviews invoices to ensure that sales taxes are appropriately captured.

9. Maintains files and thorough documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.

10. Ensures compliance with 1099 reporting requirements and maintains necessary records.

11. Identifies extraordinary expenses to be administered by the Accounting Clerk/Assistant.

12. Completes Purchase Order 3-way matching.

13. Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervision responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• Two plus years’ of Accounts Payable experience – preferred
• Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately
• Knowledge of applicable Accounts Payable/General Ledger systems and procedures and financial chart of accounts.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word & 10-key
• Strong analytical skills
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens, browsers and software programs quickly and accurately.
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectations
• Strong communication skills & professional demeanor

Education/Certifications:

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (GED) – continuing education preferred
