Accounts Payable Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Executive to manage vendor payments, reconciliations, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, fluency in Arabic and English, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process supplier invoices accurately
• Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documents
• Prepare payment schedules and coordinate approvals
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation, and prepare AP ageing reports
• Assist with month-end closing activities and support VAT filings and compliance requirements
• Coordinate with internal teams (including Arabic-speaking stakeholders/vendors) for invoice approvals and queries, and identify AI/automation opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required; CMA/ACCA (part-qualified or in progress) preferred
• 2 to 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance
• Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written); excellent English communication skills required
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
• Experience with ERP/accounting software
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment
