ProMach is excited to welcome an Accounts Payable Specialist to our Financial Shared Services Organization. In this role, you will collaborate with global team members across Finance, Reporting, Treasury, Tax, and Division Controllers. As a member of our team, you will support Corporate and division personnel by ensuring payables are processed efficiently, accurately, and timely. In addition, you will perform monthly close activities to support accurate and timely financial reporting. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Procure-to-Pay and is located in Covington, KY. The Financial Shared Services Organization is a U.S.-based, onshore operation.

Does this work interest you?

• Process, code, and review vendor invoices accurately in accounts payable systems, including Concur.
• Research and resolve invoice, payment, approval, and vendor account issues.
• Collaborate with finance partners across the organization to provide invoice documentation and respond to research requests.
• Reconcile Corporate credit card statements and coordinate with key business personnel to collect supporting documentation.
• Support the Tax Department with ad hoc requests, including coordination of payments with specific filing requirements.
• Identify recurring issues, recommend process improvements, and help align standardized accounts payable practices across the organization.
• Participate in projects involving reporting, automation, internal controls, and continuous improvement of the procure-to-pay process.
• Build productive relationships with vendors, employees, and finance partners while delivering responsive customer service.

What We’re Looking for

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or operational finance roles preferred.
• Foundational understanding of accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable concepts.
• Comfortable working with data and learning new financial systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize, review, and analyze information.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the curiosity to understand why an issue occurred.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and accountable for producing accurate work.
• Willingness to ask questions, accept feedback, and take on new responsibilities.
• Interest in process improvement, technology, and building a career in finance.
• Commitment to ethical, professional, and confidential handling of financial information.
