An Accounts Payable Specialist at Working Quarter makes sure every supplier invoice is in the client's ledger, approved and coded before the month closes. The job is full-time and remote from anywhere in Ireland.
Each month
- Process supplier invoices and match them to purchase orders and delivery notes
- Code each invoice to the right account and cost centre
- Chase approvals and prepare payment runs for the client to release
- Reconcile supplier statements and sort out the differences
- Accrue for goods and services received but not yet invoiced at month-end
- Reconcile the payables ledger to the general ledger
- A year or more in accounts payable, purchase ledger or a finance assistant role
- Experience processing invoices in an accounting system
- Excel for supplier statement reconciliations
- Xero, Sage, NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics
- An invoice scanning or approval tool
- Private health insurance, with cover for dependents

- Paid study time and exam fees for accounting courses
