About the role
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to take ownership of accounts payable at Pacera. You will make sure supplier invoices are processed accurately and on time, payments run smoothly, and our AP records are reliable for month-end close. This is a hands-on role in a growing accounting team, working closely with accountants, budget owners, and the wider Finance team as the business continues to grow.
What you will do
Process supplier invoices end to end, including coding, matching, approval routing and posting in NetSuite
Prepare and run supplier payments, ensuring they are accurate, timely and approved across multiple entities and currencies
Maintain supplier master data and respond to supplier queries
Monthly reconciliation of accounts payable
Reconcile the AP sub-ledger and supplier statements to the general ledger, and support month-end close including accruals and cut-off
Apply correct VAT and tax treatment to invoices, in line with local requirements
Chase missing approvals and resolve invoice discrepancies with budget owners and suppliers
Process employee expense claims and reconcile company cards
Support external audits by providing AP documentation and explanations
Maintain strong internal controls over the purchase-to-pay process, including approvals and segregation of duties
Help improve and automate AP processes, including e-invoicing and workflow tools
Document AP procedures and policies
Work closely with AR, the wider accounting team and others across Pacera
What we’re looking for
Experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting or finance role
Good understanding of AP processes, including invoice matching, payment runs and month-end close
Knowledge of VAT, including cross-border transactions
NetSuite experience, or experience with a comparable ERP system
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under firm deadlines
Good organisational and communication skills, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Strong fluency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
A degree or qualification in accounting, finance or a related field is preferred
Experience in a fast-paced SaaS or multi-entity group is considered a plus
Experience with AP automation or e-invoicing tools is considered a plus
What we offer
The opportunity to be part of our next phase of growth and expansion, backed by strategic private equity investment
Competitive compensation and benefits package including pension, flex hours, wellness allowances and more
