Accounts Payable Supervisor

Description As a valuable addition to our team, you will play an important role in our fast-growing finance team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, and has a strong background in accounting. This position will be remote to start, so strong communication skills are a necessity. Responsibilities: Oversees reports regarding cash flow; ensures correct payments are made in a timely manner. Develops guidelines for proper handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account and inventory records. Analyzes expense reports and other invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment. Verifies payments before controllers signature is added by reviewing checks and vouchers. Reconciles accounts payable total and general ledger with other applicable records (e.g., subsidiary vendors ledger). Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment Perform invoice and general ledger data entry Analyzing workflow processes Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures Processing due invoices for payments Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements. Perform other duties as assigned by the controller. Requirements: Bachelors in Accounting required Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role, supervisory experience preferred Experience with Restaurant365, Chouxbox, Craftable is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
