We are Dulcedo

At Dulcedo, talent management is not about volume - it’s about strategy, structure, and long-term vision. We are a full-service talent management agency specializing in the representation of creators, influencers, athletes, models, and entertainment talent across North America and internationally.Our mission is to build scalable, sustainable careers for our talent while delivering white-glove service to the brands and partners who collaborate with them. We believe in strong systems, thoughtful recruitment, and intentional growth, not short-term wins or reactive hiring.

Dulcedo is the largest multidisciplinary talent management group in Canada and a recognized leader across the US and North American markets. We manage the global careers of 500+ models, hundreds of Olympic and professional athletes, and a growing roster of top-tier digital creators, influencers, and streamers. At the core of Dulcedo’s values and recruitment process is a strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Our current workforce is a celebration of diverse ethnic backgrounds, races, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities, and lived experiences. Our continued mission is to recruit, support, and grow talent in a way that ensures equal opportunities for all applicants.

Above all, Dulcedo is a people-first organization. Our team is made up of ambitious, collaborative, and high-performing individuals who care deeply about culture, integrity, and impact. Proudly certified as a Great Place to Work, we foster an environment where people are empowered to grow, challenge themselves, and do meaningful work alongside industry-leading talent.

The Role At A Glance

Every campaign, booking and brand partnership at Dulcedo becomes a transaction. Our agents close the deal, the invoice goes out, and what happens next decides whether 500+ talents and their agents get paid on time. Accounts Receivable is where that lands.

As Accounts Receivable Technician, you own the accounting side of that work: payments applied where they belong, accounts and the AR subledger reconciled every month, discrepancies traced back to their source and fixed there. You work alongside our AR Team Lead on a small team being deliberately rebuilt, with the mandate to make the receivable records something Finance leadership trusts without checking.

This is a hands-on seat for someone who likes getting to the bottom of things. You’ll work in NetSuite daily, build the reconciliation routines that outlast you, and have a direct line to the people who decide how the function runs. The patterns you find in the data are what the Team Lead and CFO want brought to them, with the fix.

You’ll collaborate with Finance, Agents, Talent Management and Operations, inside a company that has put real investment behind its finance team over the past two years — new systems, new leadership, outside expertise — and promotes from within when the work is there.

Your Role In Action

  • Reconciliation Specialist: You reconcile customer accounts, payments, invoices, credit notes, and outstanding balances, investigating and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.

  • AR Cycle Contributor: You support the entire accounts receivable cycle, from invoicing and payment application to account adjustments and maintaining complete, reliable records.

  • Ledger Guardian: You review transactions, identify posting errors, investigate historical balances, and ensure the AR subledger is accurate and reconciles with the general ledger.

  • Closing Contributor: You prepare reconciliations, supporting schedules, and documentation to ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.

  • Problem Solver: You dig into billing discrepancies, unapplied payments, duplicate transactions, and account irregularities to identify root causes and implement practical solutions.

  • Data Quality Champion: You maintain accurate customer records, payment terms, and financial information in NetSuite, helping strengthen the reliability of our accounting data.

  • Reporting Analyst: You prepare AR aging reports, account analyses, and financial reports that provide the AR Team Lead and Finance leadership with reliable insights.

  • Process Optimizer: You identify opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen internal controls, improve documentation, and reduce manual corrections.

  • Cross-Team Partner: You collaborate with Agents, Talent Management, Operations, and Finance to clarify transactions, resolve accounting issues, and keep information flowing smoothly across teams.

  • Collections Ally: You provide accurate account information, reconciliations, and transaction research to support collections efforts, while escalating complex customer matters to the AR Team Lead.

  • What You’re Bringing With You

  • 3–5 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounting operations, or a similar accounting-focused role;

  • A diploma or degree in accounting, finance or a related field;

  • Understanding of accounting principles and the full accounts receivable cycle;

  • Strong experience with account reconciliations, payment applications, transaction reviews, and discrepancy resolution;

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to investigate complex transactions independently;

  • Proficiency with accounting systems or ERPs; NetSuite experience is a strong asset;

  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large volumes of financial data;

  • Excellent organizational skills, autonomy, resourcefulness, and the ability to manage competing priorities;

  • A collaborative approach and strong communication skills when working with internal teams and external contacts;

  • Professional fluency in English; French is a strong asset for our Montreal office;

  • Experience in a talent agency, entertainment, media, advertising, creative or similar industry is an asset.
