We’re looking for an analytical, improvement-focused professional who is naturally curious about why a process is not working, rather than simply completing the next transaction.

This is not a traditional collections or transactional AR role. The focus is on improving end-to-end AR processes across Collections, Cash Application, Billing and Claims/Dispute Management through financial analysis, root-cause investigation, stronger controls, process standardisation, automation and AI.

Working with Finance, Sales, AR operations and service providers, you’ll identify risks, challenge existing processes and deliver sustainable improvements that transform how Accounts Receivable operates.

The objective: Control performance. Diagnose problems. Improve processes. Transform how AR works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor AR Performance: Analyse DSO, overdue ageing, payment trends, Working Capital Cost, cash forecasts, dispute ageing, unapplied cash and operational KPIs across all AR processes.
  • Identify Risks and Root Causes: Investigate performance gaps, recurring payment barriers and control weaknesses, determining whether issues originate from customer behaviour, billing, disputes, cash application, systems or upstream processes.
  • Strengthen Financial Controls: Improve AR governance, controls, process documentation, compliance, ownership and escalation mechanisms.
  • Drive Process Improvement: Simplify and standardise AR processes, eliminate recurring failures and unnecessary manual work, and improve productivity, quality, scalability and customer experience.
  • Partner with the Business: Work with Finance, Sales, operational teams and outsourced service providers to resolve systemic issues, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and coordinate corrective actions through to resolution.
  • Deliver Digital Transformation: Identify and implement opportunities for analytics, automation and AI across AR, using tools such as Excel, Power BI, SAP and generative AI to improve reporting, decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Support AI Adoption: Contribute to AI-enabled workflows and agents, test digital solutions, measure their impact and support adoption across operational teams and the wider AR Centre of Excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Order-to-Cash, finance operations, financial analysis, process excellence or finance transformation.
  • Understanding of multiple AR processes, ideally including Collections, Cash Application, Billing and Claims/Dispute Management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate financial data into root causes, business impact and corrective actions.
  • Experience implementing process, control or operational improvements beyond transactional AR activities, with a good understanding of financial controls and customer payment processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large financial and operational datasets.
  • Strong project and change-management skills, excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities, and the ability to coordinate initiatives across teams.
  • Practical experience using generative AI tools to improve analysis, productivity or business processes, alongside a proactive approach to continuous improvement and digital transformation.

Preferred

  • Experience with Power BI, SAP/SAP S/4HANA, automation solutions, AI workflows or AI agents.
  • Experience with international receivables, outsourced/shared-service operations or process improvement methodologies.

What Lenovo Can Offer You

  • Opportunities for career development and growth.
  • Performance-based rewards.
  • Hybrid working model (office 3 days/home office 2 days a week).
  • Up to three paid Personal Days annually, plus additional vacation days.
  • 100% sick leave compensation for up to two months per year.
  • A broad selection of soft and hard skills training, plus individual mentoring.
  • Employer contribution to the Third Pillar Pension System, and life and life-events insurance fully covered by the company.
