Job Description

ACO Operations Program Coordinator

Integral to our Accountable Care Organization (ACO) Operations team, you will support all program coordination and high-level assistance to drive the success of the organization's Medicare product offerings: a portfolio of multi-faceted, highly integrated, technology-enabled services. In this dual role, you will support the organizational goals with Medicare programs, ensuring effective communications, maintaining compliance and timeliness of all deliverables, and smooth transactions with accuracy, tracking, and implementation of our clinical and operational models. Our ACO works directly to help reduce the cost of patient care while improving clinical quality and patient health outcomes.

How you can make a difference:

  • Administrative & Executive Support: Manage complex calendars, schedule high-level meetings, prepare detailed agendas, and coordinate actions and deliverables.
  • Program & Project Tracking: Track deliverables, milestones, and timelines across business units to ensure strategic initiatives and all ACO deadlines stay on schedule.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management: Act as the central repository for program materials; organize, format, and maintain policies, procedures, and cross-functional team files.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Support business unit alignment by facilitating team communication, scheduling program check-ins, tracking action items, and following up on outstanding tasks.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Coordinate closely with leadership and subject matter experts (SMEs) to support the rollout of ACO operations, analytics, strategy, and compliance and regulation initiatives.
  • Operational Assistance: Help coordinate collaboration between ACO leadership and partners to support operational solutions aimed at improving quality and reducing care costs.
  • Communications: Draft, proofread, and distribute clear summaries, memos, and notifications for the ACO team using strong written and verbal skills.
  • CMS & ACO Support: Apply a foundational understanding of Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and CMS programs to support compliant implementation of all processes.

Skills for success:

  • Organizational Excellence: Possesses outstanding organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies, proactively resolve issues, and ensure accuracy across communications, reports, presentations, and operational deliverables.

  • Accountability & Dependability: Takes initiative and ownership of assignments, consistently follows through on commitments, anticipates needs, and independently drives work to completion with minimal oversight, with proven ability to independently manage projects, coordinate across multiple stakeholders, track deliverables, and drive follow-through without extensive direction.
  • Analytical & Presentation Mastery: Leverages advanced research, critical reasoning, and technical writing to deliver clear, accurate, data-driven conclusions.
  • Presentation Development: Develop, format, and maintain executive-level PowerPoint presentations, board materials, operational reports, and leadership communications with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Agility & Fluidity: Navigates ambiguity effortlessly and adapts with shifting priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Fosters team delivery, collaborative workflows, and shared operational results.
  • Strong Communication: Translates complex or technical methodologies into structured, easily digestible insights for stakeholders.
  • Professional Integrity & Humility: Combines a low-ego approach with exceptional communication to build corporate trust and deliver on commitments.
  • Initiative & Execution: Operates as a resourceful self-starter who prioritizes pragmatic, actionable solutions over theory.

Education & Experience for Success:

  • Education: Associates degree is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred; in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Health Policy, or a related pre-professional discipline.
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience supporting executives and managing projects within a healthcare company or consulting firm. Direct experience working with Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) is a strong advantage.
  • Industry Expertise: A genuine passion for healthcare delivery, coupled with an eagerness to engage deeply with government programming, health policy, and CMS/ACO initiatives.
  • Project & Organizational Mastery: Proven track record of managing complex timelines, tracking milestones, and maintaining flawless operational systems.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) is required.
  • Travel Commitment: Ability to travel up to 10%.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000
