POSITION OVERVIEW Philippine Canadian Inquirer, a leading Filipino‑Canadian news publication, is seeking a results‑driven Ad Sales Professional to manage and grow a portfolio of advertisers. This role requires strong consultative selling skills, a deep understanding of client needs, and the ability to recommend effective advertising solutions across digital, print, and sponsored content platforms. Responsibilities Demonstrate a strong commitment to consultative sales focused on achieving client goals. Manage a portfolio of small to medium-sized advertisers and consistently grow revenue. Prioritize outreach and engagement strategies based on client needs, performance insights, and business potential. Research and develop a solid understanding of relevant industries, markets, and client business models. Identify sales opportunities and recommend tailored advertising solutions aligned with client objectives. Personalize media packages and optimize product adoption to improve client experience and campaign outcomes. Conduct proactive outreach (calls, emails) and provide ongoing support to assess campaign performance and recommend optimizations. Develop working expertise in digital advertising, sponsored content, and media performance metrics; identify trends and troubleshoot issues. Share insights and ideas to enhance advertising products and overall customer experience. Produce success stories and case studies showcasing advertiser growth through Philippine Canadian Inquirer platforms. Utilize various tools and communication channels to drive advertiser success and maintain strong client relationships. Qualifications Experience in advertising sales, media sales, or business development within news, publishing, or digital media. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to understand client needs and translate them into effective advertising solutions. Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing a dynamic portfolio.
