GMC Online is now hiring adjunct professors in the following discipline: Human Services

Applicants who are credentialed to teach more than one discipline are preferred. Other disciplines considered include Psychology, Sociology, and Social Work. Contracts are for 8 weeks, renewable upon availability of classes and satisfactory job performance. Applicants must provide a letter of interest, current resume or CV, three letters of reference, a statement of teaching philosophy, and a copy of unofficial transcripts. These documents may be uploaded directly to each application. If hired, an official copy of transcripts related to the teaching position(s) will be required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher specifically in Human Services. (Note: Degrees in adjacent or related fields such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy do not meet this specific requirement).
• Proficient in the use of technology, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain an appropriate and functional workspace, including necessary office furniture and equipment such as a desk/workspace, chair, monitor(s), and other basic hoe office needs

• Knowledge of learner-centered technology
• Proficiency with standard classroom technology
• Teaching experience
• Canvas experience
