Database Administrator | SQL & Automation

Are you interested in developing your career in database management and automation?

Do you have knowledge of SQL Server and enjoy solving technical incidents and requests?

Would you like to strengthen your automation skills while gaining exposure to different database technologies?

As a Database Administrator, you will join a team focused on database operations and support. You will work primarily with SQL Server, handle incidents and technical requests, perform maintenance activities, and support process automation while progressively expanding your knowledge of other database technologies.

What you’ll do:

• Handle incidents and requests mainly related to SQL Server databases.
• Support database installation, configuration, maintenance, backup, and restoration activities.
• Help automate tasks and processes using PowerShell, scripting, SQL Server Agent Jobs, and task scheduling.
• Support activities related to performance, indexes, locks, concurrency, and database availability.
• Gradually gain exposure to other database technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

What we need to see from you

What we expect from you:

• Basic knowledge of SQL Server, including installation, configuration, and administration.
• Basic T-SQL skills, including queries, joins, and simple stored procedures.
• Understanding of backups, restoration, indexes, performance concepts, and maintenance plans.
• Conceptual understanding of high availability, including Always On, Failover, and Replication.
• Interest in or basic knowledge of PowerShell, scripting, and task automation, with motivation to continue developing these skills.
