Anderson University invites applications for a part-time (20-25 hours) position as Administrative & Ministry Assistant for The Clamp Center for Preaching Excellence (TCCPE) within Clamp Divinity School. The Administrative & Ministry Assistant provides relational, administrative, logistical, and financial support for TCCPE, a ministry initiative funded through a grant from Lilly Endowment, Inc. This role works closely with the Executive Director of TCCPE to support the successful implementation and ongoing operation of Preaching Peer Learning Cohorts and related ministry programming. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings and events, maintaining participant and mentor records, supporting financial processes and reporting, managing communications through email and text platforms, assisting with marketing and website updates, and helping oversee program materials through AU Professional (Canvas). The position also supports program evaluation efforts, grant documentation, and ongoing communication with pastors, mentors, and ministry leaders.


Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a bachelor's degree preferred. Previous work experience in performing comprehensive administrative support, preferably in a college or university setting is required. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, along with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel, is required, along with the ability to quickly learn systems such as Workday, Canvas, MailChimp, and Gloo+. Experience with bookkeeping, financial tracking, administrative support, or ministry and nonprofit operations is beneficial. This position may require occasional extended hours or limited travel to support conferences, special events, or program deadline.
