Administrative Assistant

Daikin Applied is seeking an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales Applications team. In addition to typing, filing, and scheduling; performs duties such as coordination of meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies, coordinating direct mailings, and working on special projects as needed. Location: Staunton, VA – Hybrid

What you will do:

• Provide general clerical assistance to the Sales Applications team.
• Prepare presentations, reports, memoranda, transcription, and data entry; compose letters and routine correspondence; and research information.
• Responsible for reception and telephone duties as needed, including signing for front office packages.
• May be required to make meeting and travel arrangements.
• Responsible for sorting and distributing mail.
• Administer office operations or specialized business functions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of administrative assistant or customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree

The typical hourly rate for this position ranges from $21.35-$33.99 in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law. Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing. All testing and employment decisions will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
