YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the IT Operations Department, the person in this position is responsible for the administrative and operational coordination of activities related to budgets, invoices, technology assets, and external vendors. This person ensures the accuracy of financial data, the efficient processing of invoices, the maintenance of the software and hardware asset inventory, and the monitoring of projects carried out with external partners. The incumbent also contributes to process improvement, adherence to deadlines, and the quality of the information used by managers for decision-making.
The main responsibilities are as follows:
- Monitor the budget
- Track and process invoices in accordance with established procedures.
- Manage inventory and the lifecycle of physical assets.
- Manage software assets and licenses
- Coordinate activities related to suppliers and contracts.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- College’s degree in a related field or any other related discipline or combination of equivalent and relevant experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Experience with a financial system, a procurement system, or an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
- Knowledge of an IT service or asset management tool
- Knowledge of technology asset management principles and the hardware lifecycle.
- Basic knowledge of software licensing models and technology subscriptions.
- Bilingual, excellent written and oral communication required, at the CBC level.
