Role Description The Admissions Specialist is a contract, remote role responsible for guiding prospective clients and their families through the initial stages of the treatment process. Day-to-day tasks include responding to inquiries via phone, email, and online channels; explaining program offerings; and conducting preliminary screening and intake assessments in alignment with established protocols. The role involves gathering and verifying client information, coordinating with clinical and administrative teams to schedule assessments or program starts, and maintaining accurate records in the admissions system. The Admissions Specialist will provide compassionate, professional support, help individuals understand their treatment options, and ensure a smooth transition into appropriate services.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with clients, families, and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service experience, with a focus on empathy, professionalism, and timely follow-up.
  • Background in Sales or outreach, with the ability to explain program benefits and guide prospective clients through decision-making.
  • Experience in Student Recruiting or Education settings, or other admissions-related environments where candidate evaluation and enrollment are key.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and experience in behavioral health or healthcare settings is preferred.
  • Comfort working remotely, using digital tools and electronic health record or CRM systems to manage inquiries and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling, communications) is beneficial.
