About the assignment

EOLIS is looking for an Adobe Marketing Automation Engineer to join a large Belgian organisation. You will be part of the Marketing and Communications department, in the team that turns commercial and administrative campaigns for all client segments into audiences and automated journeys. Together with the Marketing and Communication Managers, you will define how each campaign idea becomes the right targeting and workflow, and you take full ownership of that set-up. The team is currently moving its campaigns to Adobe Campaign, so you will also help colleagues get the most out of the platform.

Your responsibilities

• Build complex customer journeys and workflows in Adobe Campaign, partly by rebuilding existing campaigns from SQL code.
• Define the targeting and audience selection for commercial and administrative campaigns across all client segments.
• Translate commercial ideas from marketing and communication managers into the right audiences and automated journeys.
• Optimise workflows to make them more efficient and to personalise communication where possible.
• Co-develop marketing approaches with the business, such as customer journeys, next best offer and contact strategies.
• Get to know a complex data structure, existing campaigns and best practices quickly, together with your colleagues.
• Deliver accurate, error-free campaigns, knowing that your work reaches clients directly.
• Share your Adobe Campaign expertise with the team to support the transition to the platform.

Your profile

• At least 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years with Adobe Campaign or a similar marketing automation platform.
• Proven experience in building complex customer journeys and workflows in Adobe Campaign or a similar platform.
• Solid SQL knowledge, needed to understand and rebuild the current campaigns.
• Good understanding of marketing strategies such as customer journeys, next best offer and contact strategies.
• Analytical mindset and comfortable working with highly complex data.
• Structured, accurate and detail-oriented, able to manage your own workload and planning.
• Proactive in gathering input from colleagues and stakeholders.
• Native Dutch or French speaker, with understanding of the other language as a plus, and good spoken English.
