Role Description The Advanced AI Engineering Instructor (online) will design, deliver, and continuously refine graduate-level course content in areas such as machine learning, deep learning, and advanced AI systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lectures and learning materials, recording or conducting live online sessions, facilitating discussions, guiding hands-on projects, and providing timely, constructive feedback on assignments and research work. The instructor will support learners through virtual office hours, mentoring, and academic advising, while collaborating with academic leadership to align course outcomes with program objectives and industry standards. This is a remote, contract role that requires consistent online presence, adherence to academic schedules, and strong engagement with a global, diverse student body.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced AI engineering, including practical experience with applied AI systems and tools.
• Strong background in computer science, data science, or related fields, with proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI (e.g., Python) and modern ML frameworks.
• Experience in developing and delivering online curricula, including creating structured course materials, assessments, and project-based learning for diverse learners.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly, foster inclusive classroom discussions, and support learners with varying levels of prior experience.
• Relevant academic credentials, preferably a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related discipline; equivalent industry or research experience considered.
• Prior teaching, mentoring, or academic supervision experience in higher education or professional training, especially in remote or online environments.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills, with reliable access to technology and connectivity for online teaching and student support.
• Familiarity with learning management systems, digital collaboration tools, and best practices in online pedagogy; commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory education.
