Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Call In)

Salary Range: $40.00 To $46.00 Hourly APPLICANTS MUST RESIDE IN HAWAII POSITION SUMMARY The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) specializing in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) within addiction medicine focuses on providing comprehensive care to individuals struggling with substance use and addiction. The APRN assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients, develops individualized treatment plans, prescribes medications, and offers counseling and therapy. Please see the attached job description for more information. Location: 100% Remote This is a call in position, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Pay is based on hours worked. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education/Training/ Experience Minimum: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on substance abuse or psychiatric-mental health nursing. Current, unencumbered APRN-Rx license in the state of Hawaii. Clinical experience in addiction medicine or psychiatric-mental health nursing. Preferred: Current Board Certification as a Certified Addiction Registered Nurse — Advanced Practice (CARN-AP), or other nationally recognized board certification center; OR have obtained active Board Certification by the start date if selected. Skills Knowledge Minimum: Strong knowledge of addiction medicine, including pharmacology, withdrawal management, and evidence-based treatment modalities. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Ability to connect with and support individuals struggling with addiction. Ability to assess complex situations, develop appropriate treatment plans, and adapt to changing patient needs.
