About the role
Our Advanced Surgery team and play a key role in bringing innovative surgical solutions to healthcare professionals. In this field-based role, you'll partner closely with surgeons, operating room staff, and hospital customers to support the adoption of advanced products that help improve surgical outcomes and enhance patient care.
Covering part of the Sicily territory, you'll become a trusted clinical and commercial partner, helping healthcare professionals navigate daily surgical challenges through innovative solutions in hemostatics, sealants, and anti-adhesion technologies.

What You'll Be Doing
- Drive growth across your territory by developing strategic account plans and finding opportunities that increase product adoption, market share, and balanced revenue.
- Build trusted relationships with surgeons, healthcare professionals, procurement teams, and hospital decision-makers, positioning yourself as a valued partner and creating long-term business success.
- Support the successful launch and implementation of surgical solutions, ensuring customers quickly realize clinical and operational value.
- Maintain a strong presence in operating rooms and healthcare facilities, offering product expertise and supporting healthcare professionals in real-world surgical settings.
- Lead and contribute to tender activities and negotiate consistent and transparent pricing together with sales management, helping secure profitable and sustainable business partnerships with healthcare institutions.
- Leverage CRM tools, market intelligence, and sales analytics to build accurate forecasts, prioritize opportunities, and drive effective territory management that ensure return on time.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, sharing guidelines and ensuring seamless customer support and execution.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who combines commercial drive with a genuine passion for healthcare and patient care.
- Scientific Degree, in accordance with Italian legal requirements for Informatori Scientifici del Farmaco, along with proven experience in Medical Products or drugs sales in the hospital environment.
- Understanding of the hospital negotiation and tender process.
- Availability to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
- Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Outcome-focused outlook, resilient and positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate in English and valid driver's license.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is €41.600 annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills, expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for competitive benefits and incentives.
