Red Chris is an open-pit copper-gold mine in the famous Golden Triangle of northern British Columbia, situated on the traditional territory of the Tahltan Nation. As a fly-in, fly-out operation, Red Chris is reached via charter flights from multiple locations in BC and Alberta, with teams working on a rotational schedule. Currently an active open-pit producer, Red Chris is poised for an exciting transformation – we are developing a high-value underground block cave that will extend the mine’s life for decades and unlock even more resources. Your impact As the Advisor, Contract Management – Outline Agreements (OA), you will help drive procurement efficiency and value across our mining operations by managing the full lifecycle of outline agreements for inventory goods. Through strategic sourcing, spend analysis, supplier engagement, and contract management, you will ensure reliable supply, strong commercial outcomes, and alignment with regional and global procurement strategies. As part of the team, you will Manage the full lifecycle of outline agreements (OAs), including creation, renewals, compliance, and performance monitoring. Analyze spend data to identify sourcing opportunities, cost savings, and procurement efficiencies. Lead RFQ/RFP processes, supplier negotiations, bid evaluations, and contract awards. Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support operational requirements and resolve performance issues. Maintain OA coverage, renewal plans, and procurement compliance standards. Prerequisites for your success in this role Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management, or supply chain management. Experience leading sourcing initiatives, RFQ/RFP processes, commercial negotiations, supplier management, and contract administration. Experience managing outline agreements and procurement activities within SAP. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including spend analysis and supplier performance evaluation. Experience within mining, oil & gas, heavy industry, or a similar operational environment is preferred. Proficiency with SAP, Ariba, and Microsoft Office applications. Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. C.P.M., C.P.S.M., or other relevant supply chain certifications are considered an asset. Your work environment This role is based in Vancouver with the option to work in office or remotely. Candidates located outside of British Columbia must be available to support the BC time zone. Fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
