Working with contract owners, Procurement and control functions, the Advisor will help identify, assess, monitor and manage risks arising from third-party relationships across their lifecycle. The program is informed by EDC’s risk appetite, internal policy requirements, relevant OSFI guidance and recognized industry practices.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage TPRM intake, triage, materiality, and inherent-risk assessments for third-party relationships, including arrangements that may not originate through Procurement.
  • Coordinate due diligence and residual-risk assessments with business owners and control functions, track dependencies and follow up on incomplete or outstanding reviews.
  • Support risk treatment, remediation, risk acceptance and escalation, ensuring decisions and supporting evidence are clearly documented.
  • Coordinate ongoing monitoring, reassessments, health checks, and offboarding activities based on the risk profile of the relationship.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and audit-ready third-party records, assessments, and supporting documentation in ServiceNow.
  • Monitor TPRM metrics and risk indicators, analyze trends, and prepare concise reporting for management and governance committees.
  • Provide practical guidance and training to relationship owners and other stakeholders on TPRM requirements and responsibilities.
  • Contribute to improvements to TPRM policy instruments, procedures, job aids, workflows, reporting, and ServiceNow functionality.
  • Provide limited support to vendor performance management activities where TPRM and performance issues intersect.

  • Experience coordinating assessments, issues or workflows across business teams and multiple control functions.
  • Strong judgment and the ability to challenge incomplete information, manage competing priorities and escalate risk appropriately.
  • Strong documentation, data-quality, and audit-evidence discipline.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise risk reporting and provide practical guidance to stakeholders.

What will make you stand out:

  • Experience with ServiceNow TPRM, Integrated Risk Management or a comparable workflow platform.
  • Experience supporting third-party lifecycle management in a financial institution, Crown corporation or regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of one or more third-party risk domains, such as information security, privacy, business continuity, compliance, financial crime or ESG.
  • Experience with process improvement, data analysis, dashboards or management reporting.
