BRISECOM S.L. is a research company in Valencia (Spain), incorporated in 2025, applying to the EIC Pathfinder Challenges 2026 as sole applicant. It does not broker work and does not go through agencies: research is commissioned directly from the people who do it, and there is no intermediate layer between the project and the person working on it.

Job description

We are looking for advisors, not managers.

An advisor here answers questions. You receive a specific question from the principal investigator, you answer it in writing, and it is invoiced by the hour. You have no team, no people reporting to you, no budget to administer and no part in deciding who is contracted.

What we need advice on, in any of these areas:

• Fundamental rights and the legal basis of a formal axiom set

• AI Act conformity, article by article

• Certification of a derivation format, so a third party can check a trace without trusting the system

• Evaluation methodology: test design, pre-registration, adversarial testing

• Cognitive science: concept formation and analogical transfer

• Constraint-based and contingent planning

If you work with a team, that is a point in your favour and we want to hear about it: say how many people, what each would do, and how many hours each. Each person is then contracted by BRISECOM directly and individually, with their own hours and their own timesheets. The project does not pay a company for hours its employees worked — not as a formality, but because the rate the project carries is the rate that reaches the person, and no layer sits in between to keep a difference.

If you would rather the contract were held by your institution or company, that is possible only as a subcontracted service, and only for work that is not core to the project — with the expert named in the annex and signing the deliverable.

How to apply

€60 per hour, invoiced against a timesheet. An advisory period with a maximum number of hours, agreed in advance and renewable. No exclusivity, no travel, no relocation, no in-person meetings. Nothing is owed if the proposal is not funded.
