• Analyse financial records, accounting data and other evidence to identify relevant facts, inconsistencies and areas requiring further investigation.
• Support investigations into suspected fraud, financial irregularities, misconduct and other matters requiring independent fact-finding.
• Undertake financial analysis, reconciliations, transaction tracing and loss or damages calculations.
• Support commercial disputes and expert accounting assignments, including the analysis of financial statements, forecasts and underlying assumptions.
• Review financial information against contractual requirements as part of contract compliance and royalty audit assignments.
• Prepare clear working papers, financial schedules, chronologies and other supporting analysis.
• Draft clear and concise sections of reports, correspondence and other client deliverables.
• Take day-to-day ownership of defined workstreams, managing priorities and escalating significant issues appropriately.
• Review the work of trainees and associates and provide practical guidance and feedback.
• Liaise professionally with clients, legal advisers and other stakeholders.

Skills and attributes:
• A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA.
• Relevant experience in forensic accounting, investigations, disputes, audit or corporate finance.
• Strong accounting, Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and an ability to work with complex or incomplete information.
• Strong written communication skills, with an emphasis on clear and concise report drafting.

• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Sound professional judgement and an understanding of when matters require senior input.
