Aerospace Application Engineer

Tasks and Responsibilities: ​ ​ Partner with customers to understand their intermediate technical needs and provide solutions ​ Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers ​ Complete intermediate preliminary design reviews for new business opportunities ​ Complete intermediate critical design reviews for new product development ​ Create and maintain engineering documentation (models, drawings, and procedures) ​ Support the sales team by providing technical information and product demonstrations ​ Process engineering change requests internally and externally ​ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction (e.g., R&D, manufacturing, sales) ​ Engineering approver for engineering documentation reviews ​ Partner with 3rd party suppliers as needed to support product gaps Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline 3 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in a customer-facing role with a Master's degree counting as 2 years of experience 2 years’ experience with CAD and engineering software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, or NX) 2 years’ experience in product design, including experience with complex surfaces, assemblies, and kinematics Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Competencies: Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills Strong mechanical and technical aptitude Ability to self-manage and successfully work without supervision Ability to handle and prioritize dynamic workload Strong oral and written communication Excellent organizational skills Proven proficiency with presentations and public speaking Travel: 20% domestic and international Application: Last Application Date 10/4/2026 As an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran or disability status.
