Affiliate Account Manager | 12-month FTC – Maternity Cover
£45,000 pro rata | London, hybrid | ASAP start
I’m working with a leading media agency looking for an Affiliate Account Manager to join its team, supporting a household-name financial services brand.
This is a role with plenty of ownership: managing day-to-day client relationships, delivering affiliate activity and supporting an Executive’s development. You’ll report to an Affiliate Associate Director, with a particular focus on retail banking aggregators.
It’s a busy account with established processes and high expectations, so being organised, proactive and thorough will be just as important as your affiliate knowledge.
The role
- Own day-to-day client communications, keeping activity, requests and deadlines on track.
- Plan and activate affiliate campaigns across a range of financial products, primarily retail banking aggregator activity.
- Build strong relationships with clients, affiliate partners and aggregators.
- Analyse performance and recommend ways to improve results.
- Manage and develop an Affiliate Executive, overseeing workloads, deadlines and the quality of their work.
- Work with the Associate Director to develop performance strategies and identify new partner and technology opportunities.
- Follow account processes carefully, maintaining accuracy across campaign delivery and reporting.
About you
You’ll ideally bring around two or more years of affiliate marketing experience, although the team is more interested in what you’ve owned and delivered than your exact years of experience.
Agency, client-side, network and publisher backgrounds will all be considered. You’ll need to demonstrate hands-on programme experience, strong relationship management and confidence taking responsibility for delivery.
The team is particularly looking for someone who:
- Takes initiative and brings solutions when challenges arise.
- Has excellent attention to detail and follows processes consistently.
- Can manage competing deadlines and communicate clearly.
- Enjoys collaborating and supporting a junior colleague.
- Is comfortable using data to make recommendations.
Financial services or banking aggregator experience would be a bonus, but isn’t essential.
The details
- 12-month maternity cover, with potential for a permanent opportunity, although this isn’t guaranteed.
- £45,000 pro rata.
- London-based, with a standard hybrid model of three office days. The team is currently working two office days, with flexibility discussed around individual needs.
- An immediate start would be ideal, but notice periods will be considered for the right person.
- Two interview stages, both available virtually, with a task at the second stage submitted 24 hours beforehand.
